1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sensei (the “Service”), operated by Jishu Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sensei is an AI-powered code analysis platform that provides code explanations, technical debt scoring, security vulnerability detection, complexity analysis, and improvement suggestions. The Service is available as a web application at sensei.jishulabs.com.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Free Tier & Usage Limits

The free tier provides 5 code analyses per calendar month. Usage limits reset on the first day of each month. We reserve the right to modify usage limits with reasonable notice. Abuse of the free tier (such as creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits) may result in account suspension.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit malicious code designed to attack or compromise the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit code that you do not have the right to analyze (e.g., proprietary code without authorization)
  • Use automated tools to excessively access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to code you submit for analysis. Sensei does not claim any ownership of your code. The AI-generated analysis results (explanations, scores, suggestions) are provided for your use and may be shared at your discretion. The Service itself, including its design, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Jishu Labs.

7. AI Analysis Disclaimer

The AI-generated analysis is provided “as is” for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy (95% accuracy rate), the analysis should not be considered a substitute for professional code review, security auditing, or testing. You are responsible for verifying all findings and recommendations before acting on them. Sensei is not liable for any issues arising from reliance on AI-generated analysis results.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jishu Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page, which will permanently remove all your data. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
